Disappointing
Very ordinary washing results. Bought this machine a few months ago. White singlets are now a lovely grey. Clothes are always tangled and crushed even with the low spin cycle which means I now have more ironing. The actual wash cycle is relatively short. Very disappointing. Won't buy this brand again.

Bought as an Emergency replacement
I am sure it is a good electro-mechanical washer but the complexity and choice of the electronic controls just makes it hard.
Do you really think I care that much about washing that I need 40 different options?
And for general public use, in a commercial setting, it just fails because of this complexity.

All round winner!
I have had this machine for 6 weeks and I absolutely love it! It's quiet, doesn't move or vibrate and make the house shake! The filters are the best, easy to clean. Thanks to Kyabram Betta for top notch service and delivery 😄

Very good product

Issues with machine
Purchased April 2022 and had to call out someone to fix it last year (2024) , working okay and now have to call out someone again in January 2025. leaking inside the machine into the tub and from underneath - my 87 year old Aunty is very upset. What a waste of money to buy, I will not buy this piece of junk again!

Great machine, very quite
Very happy with my Haier, its very quite to run.
The only 1 thing i would like is a very quick wash (say 15min), as my old Haier machine had this.
But still extremely happy with this machine.
Filters easy to clean.

Haier 8kg washer
A neat and tidy machine which seems to work well. For an 8kg machine it appears after the first usage that it does not take as bigger load as my old (different brand) 7.5kg machine.
Water filling is quite different to any other machine I have used and it takes a bit of getting used to as it fills in stages. Not sure at this stage if the auto fill is any good as it does not seem to put enough water in.
If you want to add something to the wash you have to pause the machine as it has an auto lock lid when in operation.

Almost perfect!
I'm very happy with this product. I was attracted to it (mainly) because it had a lower spin speed that other brands (shouldn't need a fast spin speed, not here in Australia), and fast spin tends to leave more creases. This machine lots of wash options (a definite positive). However, what I don't like with this machine is the detergent dispenser; it is way too small! Whilst I know that it's ok to use a concentrated detergent, the variety of concentrated detergent is very small. This machine should have a larger detergent dispenser

Horrible machine
I bought this machine 2 months ago and it’s the biggest dud of a machine I’ve owned. I should have read the reviews a bit more. Leaves white marks on dark clothes (tried so many different detergents, as I was advised to do but still does it.) Leaves fluff build up on materials like polo shirts (and yes I clean the lint filter after every single wash). The only thing this machine has going for it is the 30 minute wash and the price. But honestly I’d pay double the price if I knew just how bad it was.

Great machine at a good price point!
Great washing machine, cost effective, easy to install and washes the clothes effectively! It’s a very quiet machine also. Only downside for me personally, is when you start the wash the lid locks, I’d love to be able to chuck something in if I forgot, but it’s a minor inconvenience.

Generally a good machine, but a couple of issues.
The spin speed isn’t fast enough. A longer spin is no use if it’s still 750rpm. Luckily it doesn’t go out of balance as some have reported. It leaves cloudy white marks on dark clothes. The only way I have found to reduce the marks is to use Fab detergent pods, warm water, extra rinse & don’t use auto water level. The water level needs to be higher than the level probably should be. Also I can’t wash thick dark fabric like denim inside out or the marks are still bad. The water filling is very strange. A bit of hot & a bit of cold, over & over again until it’s filled. Especially annoying for a hot wash as it’s still alternating hot & cold. It’s starting to get squeaky when it’s washing.

Do not buy this machine.
I bought this on the 2nd of September 2024, it is now the 20th of September.
Last night it had an E4 come up on the screen.
I read the booklet to see what E4 was for, it said water inlet and to check it didn't have blockage.
No blockage, water was going into machine and straight back out the outlet hose.
Who knows how much water we lost, not to mention nothing was washed.
I bought mine from Good Guys and was told that I had to wait for the machine to be assessed. So BRAND NEW WASHING MACHINE I CANT USE. Do not recommend this machine at all.

Great Buy - Excellent Value for Money
I love this machine, it washes effectively and I also love the different cycles it has to offer. The only critique that I do have is that the lid locks as soon as you start a wash, which makes it difficult to add an item you may have dropped along the way to the laundry room.
