Testing conducted by the Australian Government GEMS Regulator has discovered that the energy consumption of the Haier Smart Power model ABH140K1ERG/1UH140P1ERK (Product) launched in May 2016 is higher than the rated values stated on the energy efficiency label.
As a result of this, the cost of running the Product may be higher than consumers anticipated when they purchased the Product and Fisher & Paykel Australia Pty Limited as the distributor of Haier Air Conditioning wishes to compensate consumers who have purchased the Product.
In order to compensate consumers, Fisher & Paykel Australia Pty Limited is offering consumers a rebate which is based on an estimate of the potential difference in operating costs that may be experienced in respect of the Product over the course of its life.
