New technology washing machine from Haier for cleaner results

Tuesday 15 August 2006

With claims to clean 50 percent better than existing similar capacity washing machines, and yet be more efficient where time, water and energy usage are concerned, the new Haier Double Drive is considered to be the latest in washing machines technology.

At the same time, this advanced machine is designed to be extremely gentle on garments ensuring they remain twist-free during the cleaning cycle.

So what is it that makes this flagship washer from Haier so unique and efficient?

Unlike standard models, which just feature a pulsator, the Haier Double Drive includes both a pulsator and an inner drum that each rotate in opposite directions. The result is a strong water action which, with the help of slimline paddles, spreads detergent evenly and helps remove dirt from garments more efficiently.

The low abrasion pulsating wash action is very gentle on clothes while a synchronised rinsing and spinning cycle contributes greatly to Double Drive’s water efficiency.

Ideal for larger loads, Haier’s Double Drive washer offers a generous 9 kg capacity. Cycle options include 29 minute quick wash or a whole cycle can be finished in 41 minutes while using 50 per cent less water and 50 per cent less energy than a similarly featured model.

This washer has a reduced noise facility for a quieter wash and features an easy-to-read LED display which clearly shows the water level and remaining cycle time, and it also benefits from a delayed start option.

The Haier Double Drive washing machine is available from key Harvey Norman and Retravision outlets (initially in NSW only) with an RRP of $1,499 or check out the website at www.haier.com.au.
