Feature packed freezers from Haier
Friday 30 September 2005Haier has extended its range of feature-packed, practical and price-friendly freezers ready for Australia's summer.
Launching now are two vertical freezers and a chest freezer to complement the company's ingeniously designed, user friendly, chest freezer draw model; HFM185.
New Haier Vertical Freezers - HFV160 and HFV116
Expected to attract keen consumer interest is the early warning temperature system which has been built into both vertical freezer models.
When the temperature rises above the manufactures pre set recommendation a warning light is activated and a buzzer sounds. This helps eliminate any spoilages.
The temperature control is easily adjusted.
Both models have a 'Super Freeze' button option which can reach minimum levels quickly to extend food freshness by locking in the nutritional.
The HFV160 has a neat solid front drawer storage facility designed for quick easy access. It has a 4 Star Energy Rating and measures a compact 1134 x 600 x600.
Locating stored foods is even easier with the four clear drawers featured in the more astute HFV116 model. Full of surprises the 116 has a 4.5 Star Energy rating with a LED display panel incorporated into its external temperature control device. Its dimensions are 850 x 600 x 600mm.
The RRP for the HFV160 is $749, the HFV 116 is $559.
New Haier Chest Freezer - HFC150
The new Haier HFC 150 chest freezer is a versatile alternative featuring a spring-loaded lid for effortless opening. A step divider makes separating foods into neat categories a simpler process while a front-positioned thermostat can be easily adjustable for individual freezing preference. A wire basket allows for easier stacking and allows food to be carried to the kitchen workbench.
Dimensions are 850 x 804 x 575mm and it offers a 2.5 Star Energy Rating.
The HFC150 is fitted with casters and has a Fast freeze switch that allows it to quickly reach minimum temperatures to lock in the nutritional value and freshness of food purchases for longer food preservation.

Haier Access Draw Chest Freezer - HFM185
The unique Haier HFM185, with its patented user-friendly design, offers two independent cooling zones to store and organise food.
The 114L capacity shallow top section provides easy access for longer-term frozen foods; this section is only 33cm deep meaning no unnecessary leaning or stretching to find foods inside. A wire basket is included allowing the most often used contents to be easily taken to the kitchen bench. The bottom drawer compartment slides out effortlessly to reveal a useable 72 litre capacity.
The Access Draw is ideal to store your favourite ready-to-eat foods. The drawer can be removed for easy cleaning it also can be utilised as that extra ice bin for party drinks!
A corrosion-resistant anodised aluminum interior ensures longevity for this freezer while a six-point thermostat is used for effective temperature control.
Complete with castors for easier mobility, the HFM185 has dimensions of 875 x 843 x 705mm.
