Haier Group achieved the global revenue of RMB 122 billion
Friday 23 January 2009Powered by innovation, actively conquering the global crisis for product sales, the global revenue of Haier Group achieved 122 billion RMB (USD 17.5 billion) in 2008, with year-on-year growth of 8%. Among them, the overseas sales revenue achieved year-on-year growth of 9.8% and the profit achieved 20.6% growth.
By now, Haier has established 29 manufacturing bases, 8 comprehensive R&D centers and 19 trade companies throughout the world, with altogether over 50,000 global employees. Haier brand was valued as high as RMB 80.3 billion in 2008. It has been marked as the most valuable brand in China for six consecuitve years since 2002.
