Haier ranked top Chinese brand by reputation

Haier has been named as the world's most reputable Chinese brand by Reputation Institute, a research and consulting firm from New York.

Haier was ranked 13th overall in the survey of the 200 largest companies with the best reputations. It is the only electrical and electronics company in the top 15. Toyota was ranked first, followed by Google and IKEA.

The list was compiled from results of a study involving 60,000 respondents during February and March, with 150,000 companies supplying ratings on 1,000 companies in 27 countries.
